Managing Safely

We have over 34,000 members worldwide, including 13,000 Chartered Safety and Health Practitioners. The Institution was founded in 1945 and is an independent, non-for-profit organization that sets professional standards, supports and develops members and provides authoritative advice and guidance on health and safety issues. IOSH is formally recognized by the ILO as an international non- go vernmental organization.

Managing Safely is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organization. It’s designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams. The flexible new high impact programmed covers all the main health and safety issues, and includes a session tackling the environment too. The course lasts for 24 hours in total. Managing Safely can be delivered over a full week or on single days or as an evening course and has eight modules;

Certification

Delegates who successfully complete the written and practical assessments at the end of the course are awarded an IOSH cer tificate in managing safely.
